Hi ARMY!
Happy New Year! With the recent comeback announcement, it finally feels real, right? I just wanted to remind you that it’s not too late to start planning and saving for concerts.

I made a free downloadable concert savings tracker with encouraging quotes from the members and practical tips to help you along the way. Keep reading to grab it!

Saving for the BTS Concert!

But before we dive in, I just wanted to say first:

If you’re not into watching concerts, that’s completely okay. It doesn’t make you any less of a fan. Each of us supports and loves our idols in our own way, and together that love shines even brighter. Don’t let anyone make you feel small because you can’t or don’t want to attend a concert.

First, set your goal

Ticket

Travel

Food + merch

Total goal: $_____

Reminder: this is not pressure. It’s preparation.

The 6-Month Breakdown

Example goal: $1,200

6 months = $200/month

$50/week

$7/day

Small numbers feel possible. That’s the point.

Before buying any new merch, ask yourself:

  • Am I supporting my future joy or sabotaging it?
  • Is this adding to my life, or just draining my concert fund?
  • Would I rather hold this item, or hold a concert ticket?

(I know it is very counter productive for me as a merch shop owner to say this lol, but this community is my priority over sales - I hope you know that!)

Suggestions on how to make extra money:

  • Sell items you no longer use, especially sealed or unused ones on eBay or Mercari
  • Food or grocery delivery with DoorDash or Instacart
  • Dog walking or pet sitting through Rover or Wag
  • Renting out a room or space short term on platforms like Airbnb

Suggestions on how to save money:

  • Create a separate savings fund for your goal so the money is out of sight and harder to spend
  • Pause impulse purchases and wait 24 hours before buying anything non essential
  • Swap small daily expenses like coffee or takeout for homemade alternatives a few times a week
  • Set up automatic transfers right after payday, even small amounts add up
  • Track spending weekly so you catch leaks early instead of at the end of the month
