BTS WORLD TOUR - Everything You Need to Know to Get Tickets

Hi ARMY, Vanessa here from Hobihearteu Shop. I collected the best tips from the online community, Reddit and Ticketmaster and compiled them all here to help you snag those BTS Tours Tickets. To everyone who is going to try - I wish you all the best!

Before the Sale

• Apply for ARMY Presale using this link.
  • Presale closes on Jan 18 - 3PM PT / 6PM ET
  • You should have a valid ARMY membership, get one or renew via Weverse Shop.
  • You can use both US / Global memberships to buy US/Canada/Mexico Tickets. Apply for Global for outside the Americas ticketing.
  • You can only apply for 3 locations, you cannot change this later on
• Application is automatically approved, you can now join the pre-sale. Your ARMY Membership ID is your code. No other code will be sent.
  • Find your ARMY Membership ID and list down somewhere easily accessible.
    • Open the Weverse app and open BTS Weverse
    • Tap the “Membership” icon
    • Click on “View Membership Details” under “ARMY MEMBERSHIP” to access your mobile membership card
    • Find your 9-digit ARMY MEMBERSHIP NUMBER on the card starting with BA
• Your Weverse and Ticketmaster email should match. (Seat Geek for Baltimore and Arlington)
  • If they do not match - change your email address on Ticketmaster, this can only be done via a desktop website, not available on mobile app. If you are unable to change your email, it's probably because you just changed it recently - in this case you may need to create a new account either in Ticketmaster or Weverse.
  • Your email addresses need to match before the end of Pre-Sale Registration Jan 18th 3PM PT / 6PM ET
  • If you signed up for Weverse using Apple relay email on iPhone, the only way to change your email is to create a new Weverse account with your preferred email. If you already purchased an ARMY Membership and have not used it for presale or member only content, you may cancel it for a refund within 7 days.
• When buying VIP soundcheck tickets, note that upon concert entry they will ask you for a copy of the ID that matches the name on the credit card used to purchase the ticket.
• Sign in or create a Ticketmaster/Seat Geek account. Have your password handy or reset it in advance to avoid any delays.
• Check if your phone number is correct and can receive verification codes.
• Add your bank / credit card details in Ticketmaster / Seat Geek, go to profile then payment options.
  • Best to have 2 available payment methods set-up.
  • Make sure your billing details are correct too.
• Go to the Ticketmaster BTS World Tour page and set a reminder for all pre-sale venues you want to join. Times are different for each venue, local time means local to the venue, not your local time.
  • For some EU/Global locations the pre-sale link can be found on the Weverse BTS World Tour page which then leads to Live Nation etc.
• Familiarize yourself with the venue layout. Choose in advance the types of tickets that you want. You can practice with other events in the same venue currently selling tickets e.g. Foot ball games in the stadium, Bruno Mars tour
  • Use Stubhub or Seat Geek to see how your view will look like
• Types of ticket prices: you will see the type beside the price once you click on the seat in Ticketmaster:
  • Official Platinum means, the ticket is priced above standard because of high demand. Some of the most desired seats e.g. VIP, Floor will quickly change to Official Platinum prices.
  • Standard Admission is the original price of the ticket, the lowest possible rate you can buy it.
• Test your main and back-up device for access e.g. laptop then phone. For your main device, use the one you are most comfortable with.
• Test your main and back up internet connection e.g. Wifi then hotspot
• Disable all your browser ad-blockers and extensions, this may cause issues on some of the pop-up windows opening.
• Turn off your VPN, Apple Private Relay and other proxy servers.

During the Sale

• Pre-Sale opens Jan 22 / 23 depending on your location. Check the Ticket Master BTS World Tour page.
• Have your credit card details near you in case you need to enter them again.
• Have your phone next to you for the verification code.
• 30 mins before the pre-sale schedule go to Ticket Master BTS World Tour page. If the Pre-Sale hasn’t started, you will see a countdown timer.
• Once open, join the waiting room.
• Don't refresh the page in the waiting list! If you refresh the page you will lose your spot and will be put last in line again.
• Once you get to the front of the queue, it will ask you to enter your pre-sale code (your 9 digit Weverse Membership ID starts with BA), you can have one tab for each date open on the same browser. This code will work across them.
• Don’t look like a ticket bot! It may result in you being blocked for a period of time and unable to shop for tickets.
  • Stay within one browser window and on a single device or it may result in errors. Multiple tabs in the same browser is okay if trying multiple shows.
  • Don’t refresh your browser multiple times for multiple ticket searches.
  • Turn off your VPN, Apple Private Relay and other proxy servers.
• Save time during the on sale by searching for the Best Available ticket filter.
• If all the tickets appear gray or sold out, just stay on the page and keep clicking. Small batches of tickets are released every few hours. During PTD LA I got into Presale and all is sold out, I kept clicking/refreshing from 6PM then around 10pm a whole batch of tickets showed up and I managed to get Row 2 from stage!
• You may purchase a maximum of (4) four tickets per show
• You can search for accessible tickets by selecting the Filters button and toggling the Show accessible tickets button.
• Once the ticket is in your cart, a countdown timer will appear. About 3-10 mins depending how busy it is. So be ready to check out asap.

What can I do if all tickets are sold out or at Platinum Price?

• You can wait, based on my experience buying many concert tickets, Ticketmaster will eventually lower the platinum priced tickets to standard, 2-3 weeks before the concert, assuming tickets are not sold out.
• Ticketmaster will also release Side View tickets 2-3 weeks before the concert, side view tickets are semi obstructed views usually at the far side of the stage.

Buying Resale Tickets

• If you see tickets on re-sale sites even before pre-sale started - avoid! This is either a scam or you are being charged an extremely high price.
• Only buy from reputable sites that you’ve tried and tested.
• Do not buy from a random person in the internet even if they have an ARMY account with 500k followers or even if they accept payments with Purchase Protection, only buy from someone you personally know.
• If the ticket price is below face value - red flag! Do not buy.
• Wait 5-7 days before the event for a better deal. Scalpers will always panic drop their prices.

Renting Suites

• Another option to watch is via renting a suite in the venue, these are private rooms w/ your own wait staff and food. Most suites are above the first elevated level and they usually cost per person around the same amount as floor tickets.
• How to rent a suite? You can either call the venue directly to inquire for your group or check your local FB/social media groups - or ask your friends, someone is always offering a suite believe me. Here is an example form for Allegiant Las Vegas.
• Be careful of scams! Only purchase suite tickets from someone your friends can vouch for e.g. they previously got suite tickets from them
