Soundcheck VIP BTS Tickets - Everything You Need to Know
Hi ARMY! The question I get asked about every 2 hours is how to buy VIP Soundcheck tickets. So decided to make a guide for it!

How do I buy Soundcheck VIP tickets?
Soundcheck VIP tickets are purchased the same way as regular tickets on the same ticketing page. Filter by VIP, or select seats closest to the stage. The ticket details will clearly state āVIP Soundcheckā. Applicable for both Ticketmaster and SeatGeek.
How many Soundcheck VIP tickets can I buy?
There is a limit of 4 tickets per show date. You can use all 4 for Soundcheck VIP tickets if you want.
Whatās included in the Soundcheck VIP package?
- Early venue entry, usually around 4 to 5 PM
- Access to soundcheck, where BTS sings parts of a few songs while testing audio
- Soundcheck typically lasts about 10 to 20 minutes
- A special gift and a VIP lanyard
How fast do I need to be to get VIP Tickets?
They are usually gone in the first 5 mins. Best to buy in counts of 2 or 4, cause sometimes TM/Seat Geek will not allow singles.
Are Soundcheck VIP tickets transferable?
Yes, but there is an important ID requirement.
When entering the venue for soundcheck, security will ask for a copy of the ID that matches the name on the credit card used to purchase the tickets.
Name on the Ticketmaster account does not matter, they only check the name on the credit card used for purchase and confirm that it matches the ID you present.
The ID copy can be:
- A photocopy on paper, or
- A photo of the ID on your phone
Scenario 1 - I used my dadās card to pay for Soundcheck VIP tickets.
Bring a photocopy or photo of your dad's ID when entering soundcheck.
Scenario 2 - My friend bought the Soundcheck VIP tickets for our group, and we are entering together.
Your friend simply shows their actual ID at entry.
Scenario 3 - I bought Soundcheck VIP tickets through resale on Ticketmaster or StubHub and do not have access to the original buyerās ID.
In this case, you cannot enter soundcheck. You will enter with regular ticket holders for the actual concert.
You can still keep your VIP seat close to the stage. The only thing you lose is access to soundcheck.
Is there a meet and greet with BTS?
Most likely not. If there were, it would be clearly stated in the ticket details.
How much is Soundcheck VIP?
Prices have not been released yet.
Based on past concerts, I recommend preparing for a range of approximately $700 to $1,200 USD.
What is your source? How do you know this information?
Live Nation, which usually manages VIP experiences for K-pop concerts, sends an email about a week before the show to VIP ticket holders.
This email typically includes:
- Entry gate number
- Entry time
- ID requirements
I personally have about five of these emails from past concerts.
