The Teacher Min Project, an ARMY Fundraising Campaign

Hi ARMY! Last year you helped me gather 6k USD for the Amygdala Project towards Suicide Prevention. This year, let’s come together again for another meaningful cause!

Let's help teacher Min reach more children and raise awareness on Neurodiversity!

There are 3 ways to help to get to our 3k goal.

Option 1 - Donate directly to the Min Yoongi Treatment Center at Severance Hospital.

The Min Yoongi Treatment Center offers personalized, long-term care for individuals with ASD, including mental health, language, psychological, and behavioral therapies—plus programs connecting clinical work with research.

Donate here via Severance Hospital's Paypal

Option 2 - If you prefer to help within the US, I recommend donating to Mt. Sinai Louis Armstrong Department of Music Therapy.

Mount Sinai’s Music Therapy program helps children with autism build communication, social, and emotional skills through personalized, interactive music sessions.

Donate here via the Mt. Sinai portal

Option 3 - If you'd like a small keepsake with your donation, you can purchase this sticker from my website. 100% of the net profit will go to the Min Yoongi Treatment Center

I'll be posting regular donation updates and receipts on IG for full transparency.

ARMY share your story!

📝 Let me know by replying to this email how much you donated and which cause you chose— so that I could count it towards our $3,000 goal!

But more importantly, if this cause is close to your heart, I’d love to hear your story

Do you have a loved one on the autism spectrum? What are the joys and the struggles? What do you wish more people understood? Let me know by replying to this email.

I’ll be collecting your stories and sharing them in upcoming posts.

Before we go, a few key concepts...

💡
Yoongi is working to support children with ASD—but what exactly is ASD?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a condition that affects how a person communicates, learns, and experiences the world. People with ASD may see, hear, or feel things differently, and they might need support with social situations, routines, or expressing themselves. Everyone with autism is unique—just like everyone else.

💡
Yoongi’s way of helping reflects a neuro-affirmative approach.

Neuro-affirmative means recognizing and respecting the different ways people’s brains work. Instead of trying to "fix" or change neurodivergent individuals (like those with autism, ADHD, etc.), a neuro-affirmative approach supports and values their unique strengths, needs, and experiences. It focuses on inclusion, understanding, and creating environments where everyone can thrive as they are.
